Our Work

01

Brown Beauty Charm School exists to help young girls, ages 2-14, to become change agents in their community as they embrace their inner beauty and self worth. It seeks to develop girls to find their purpose through self awareness, pageantry, and service.

Little Miss Fort Worthington

This inaugural project was created to help expose Athena's peers to the benefits and power of pageantry. Girls in grades k-6 were able to meet monthly, hear empowering local female speakers, and complete bonding activities--along with pageant coaching. It culminated in a school wide pageant. The Lighthouse Project

This is the service branch of the charm school and is still in development. This project actively looks for and creates opportunities for kids to give back to and enhance the larger Baltimore Community. We are currently working on developing a community fridge in West baltimore and looking for partners to help stock and/or house that fridge. Stay Tuned!!!T

Little Miss Brown Beauty Pageant

This project seeks to expand the work done in Little Miss Fort Worthington and help additional Baltimore k-8 schools to develop girl focused empowerment groups with pageant coaching, speakers, and bonding sessions. Girls will compete in a school based pageant in 3 age groups. We are working to also create a larger pageant final where the top school finishers can compete on a larger scale. Stay Tuned!
